THE
21st Amendment
18th Amendment to the Constitution had ushered in a period known as Prohibition, during which the manufacture, distribution, and sale of alcoholic beverages were illegal.
Nevertheless, President Franklin D. Roosevelt came to our rescue.
The 21st Amendment repealed the 18th Amendment of January 16, 1919, ending the increasingly unpopular nation-wide prohibition of alcohol.
This meant everyone could now drink their hearts out or should we say livers out....
We, at the 21st Amendment recapture the joy, celebration and the freedom to drink.
